The Draft National Regulations are Now Online

DEEWR have now released the draft Regulations. A copy can be downloaded here .

IPSU NSW & ACT urges services to examine the Regulations and determine how these will work for your service. Remember that these national Regulations will replace the NSW Children's Services Regulation 2004. All NSW children's services that are covered by the National Quality Framework will need to operate under these Regulations. This is our opportunity to influence the development of the Regulations.

Budget Based funded services that IPSU NSW & ACT support which include Multifuntional Aboriginal Children's Services (MACS), Aboriginal Playgroups (Enrichment Program), Out of School Hours Care and Mobile Children's Service will still operate under the NSW Children's Regulation 2004 until they are in scope for the National Quality Standard estimated 2014
